FAQ
You’ve Got Questions—We’ve Got Answers
HOW DO I JOIN?
Just turn up on one of the training days, or complete the online registration form via the membership page. It will only take a few minutes. We hope may of your questions will be answered on this website, but if you do have any more questions, do contact us! We will try to get back to you as soon as possible.
WHEN IS TRAINING?
Training days are detailed on the Training page, and up to date information about training dates and venues is included on the Calendar page. When you become a member of the club, you will get access to our club app, Spond, which will keep you up to date with training, matches and news. For new players, or people considering joining the club, the first session is free.
WHAT ARE THE COSTS?
All players pay an annual membership fee, depending on the type of membership. Players also pay for training and matches via a monthly training fee. Unfortunately, the club has to pay for things such as venues, volunteer/coach training, referees and equipment, and non of it is cheap, but we try to keep costs as low as possible. Club members also have access to a range of member benefits and we are always on the look out for ways to make membership as beneficial as possible!
WHO DO YOU PLAY AGAINST?
Our Men's 1 team and our Women's team play in the EHA Premier League North, so play against some of the best teams in the country. Our Men's 2 team plays in the EHA Regional League, playing teams mainly in the Midlands. League games are usually on 2 Saturdays/Sundays a month during the season. We also play friendlies against more local clubs and universities. Our youth teams play in EHA leagues and tournaments, and usually play once a month at the weekend. Again we try to arrange games against local schools and clubs where possible.
