The Bison's U14 Boys team performed brilliantly in their first ever competitive league games over the weekend. Playing in the EHA U14 Boys Championship, they were up against some well established club teams as well as one other new team. First up were Shropshire 1 and the Bison boys performed really well, ending up winning 11-6. Next up were Stockport, a new team and a bit of an unknown quantity, although they were coached by a very experienced coach. However, the Bison lads again won, 15-8. Birmingham then played Shropshire 2, with the result 11-3 in our favour. Finally the boys again performed really well, beating a Trafford team 20-13.

Overall, the boys did really well, even thought they were missing one of their more experienced players, so it looks promising for the next round of matches in March. Following on from these regional games, the boys will be looking to play in the U14 National Open Championships in June. Before then, a lot of hard work!!
