..or is it?

The Bison Men and Women played their penultimate games of the season at Cannock on Sunday with mixed results. Both the Men's teams won again Loughborough 1 and Nottingham 3, with the Men 1 coming through at the end to win faily comfortably after a close 55 minutes! The Men 1 now have to see how they get on next Sunday when they play their final game against Manchester, with a win probably sealing a third place in the North Premirt Leagues. They will then play Liverpool and 2 of the Southern teams in April and May to decide where they finish overall in the Premier League. The Men 2 team comfortably beat a spirited, but weakened Nottingham 3 team, to leave them in a creditable 4th place in the North Regional league. A good result after last season where they really struggled. It is good to see some players really developing over the season. and the Men 2 never struggled to score goals no matter who they played against. The Bison women were unfortunately unable to overcome their record, losing to a very strong Loughborough side. The Bisons never really recovered from a poor start, but they kept going and had a significantly better second half. This has been a tough season for them, with the loss of so many players, but they have kept going and have played some great handball, even in defeat. They will have a break and will be looking forward to training and building for next season! Allez les Bisons!
